iPad mini (serial number: F4KM4F4WFCM6) left on AC 793 seat 18A. Spoke with AC staff 40 minutes later who said they had my iPad, but could not bring it back to the gate where I left it.

It has an orange cover that is a little worn. It’s an iPad mini. The screensaver has the time, and when you press the button, it gives you the opportunity to press the code. Once it connects to Wifi it will display a number to call since I reported it missing in iCloud.
I exited the plane at approximately 9:45pm (flight AC 793 from Toronto to Los Angeles) and realized I had left my iPad mini once I reached the gate for my connecting flight to Brisbane. I returned to the gate where the AC 793 disembarked in Terminal 6 at 10:30pm and spoke to an Air Canada representative at the gate counter. I believe her name is Rosa. She kindly contacted someone through her radio who confirmed that he had my iPad. I believe his name was Tory or Troy. He was unable to return my iPad to the gate where I left it, and I was unable to go to his location, retrieve my iPad, and go back through security in time to make my connecting flight to Brisbane. He then told Rosa over the radio that I should utilize chargerback.com as the process to retrieve my iPad. I was unsure whether the man on the other end of the radio was an LAX employee or an Air Canada employee. I filled out a file on chargerback.com with Air Canada. I was unable to do so selecting LAX with chargerback.com.
